    Description

    We are currently looking for a sales representative to join our team at the St-Bruno branch.

    About the role :


    • Maximize revenue and profits within the assigned territory.

    • Represent SMS Equipment and conduct business transactions on their behalf.

    • Study the market situation, set goals and objectives, plan prospecting activities accordingly.

    • Prepare daily and weekly report on sales activities.

    • Determine the requirements of new and existing customer, assess their equipment, and recommend the proper equipment needed to meet their expectations.

    • Prepare business proposals and have them approved by the Operations Manager.

    • Ensure that the customer receives proper and adequate information on the operation and maintenance of the product purchased.

    • Inform the clientele of price, terms and conditions, warrantees, delivery date and credit options.

    • Perform any other tasks assigned by Operations Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but not required.

    • Well versed in construction, mining, and forestry equipment. Having a broad understanding of equipment operations and function is a definite asset.

    • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of successful external selling experience.

    • Skillful at building strong relationships.

    • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Outlook.

    • A valid driver's license.

    • Must be available to travel.
