Duties & Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and caulk aluminum curtainwall, storefronts, windows, doors, etc.
• Measure, cut and drill aluminum extrusions.
• Operate machines and tools as needed.
• Inspect aluminum for various quality flaws.
• Assist with loading and offloading.
• Deliver products to job sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Assist and support project management to ensure continuity between tender, construction, and project completion.

• Ability to read, understand and explain architectural plans, construction drawings and tender documentation.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fastpaced environment with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Requires an agreeable personality with a strong sense of being part of a team.
• Must possess a professional manner in both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently.

Must read and interprets blueprints and specifications to determine type and thickness of glass, frame, installation procedures and materials required.

Install pre-assembled framework for windows or doors designed to be fitted with glass panels.

Install, fit, fabricate on job sites and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial buildings Sets glass doors into frame and bolts metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware onto glass doors.

Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Ability to travel is a mandatory work requirement.

Good working knowledge of glass, framework, curtain wall installation. Able to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to caulk would be considered a significant asseT..

Communicate project site conditions with the office team.

Experience working on construction job sites.

You understand the fastening procedure of aluminum structure and glass handling.

Familiarity with architectural work.

Experience: 3 years and more.


Job Types:

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
$15.50-$18.50 per hour
