Vice President, Community Coverage

Part-time contract for 6-month period (to October 31, 2024), with the possibility of extension

Events & Community Fundraising Leader:

Working with Events & Community team, prepare strategic and operational plans for the events and community portfolio, including annual business plans with budgets and key performance metrics
Work to grow the Events and Community portfolio to raise $4M in annual revenues (~$2.2M in F25, fiscal year April March 2025)
Lead a flexible team of staff and partners, including third party service providers
Work with Health Centre colleagues to cultivate the culture of philanthropy through events and activities
Work with the communications team to build profile in the community and build support for fundraising activities
Develop event strategies, secure partners and sponsors for signature and community events
Lead the engagement of Event Committees (e.g. Cycle 4 St. Joe's, Fall Classic, Gala, etc)
Oversee team that is responsible for planning and execution of cultivation and stewardship events,1 2 staff members with additional outsourced event support
Manage annual Events & Community budgets
