Marine Fiberglass Repair Shop and Storage – General Laborer
Permanent Fulltime
Mon – Fri (8am to 5pm), Saturdays during busy season
Hourly Wage Depending on Experience
We are looking to add a motivated and hard-working individual to our team here at our family-run marine fiberglass repair and storage facility located in Gravenhurst.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to enter the marine industry and learn a skilled trade over time. Previous marine experience is helpful but not required; what matters most is a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. You should be physically capable of lifting moderate weight, able to follow instructions carefully, and motivated to grow your skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Keeping the buildings and facilities clean, organized, and operational
Moving/organizing marine inventory
Working with manager to facilitate scheduling/moving of customer units in and out of storage
Use of heavy equipment such as tractors
Assist technicians with necessary care/maintenance on shop equipment and customer units
Assist with pick up and delivery of boats and vessels.
Clean boats for delivery
assist with preparing boats for storage
Qualifications:
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Full G license
Mechanical experience is an asset
Ability to work long hours on your feet
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Willing to learn new skills
Ability to change tasks quickly and efficiently
Experience with boats is an asset
Position to start immediately.
