Parts Coordinator - Thunder Bay, Canada - Equipment World Inc.

Equipment World - Thunder Bay is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our team
As a key member of the Parts department, the coordinator will be responsible for the flow of paperwork, scheduling, tracking and customer follow up.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Use Sage/ACCPAC system to initiate and maintain work orders in the Service Manager program
- Researching, sourcing parts
- Estimating and providing Quotes to customers/clients/service included
- Prepare parts requisitions and inventory control for mechanics, including shop supplies
- Use of Dealer/Manufacturer online portals, ie. Toyota, Bobcat, Genie etc.
- Keep all work orders current review BO report frequently and cross reference WIP list to BO report to ensure timeliness of deliveries and invoicing
- In conjunction with Service Manager, coordinate parts requirements for mechanics & job assignments
- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse supply room or other area
- Manage all local and vendor specific (part) purchase orders
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal/external usage
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using the computerized inventory system
- Expedite customer's & service parts orders by maintaining contact with vendors and freight companies
