Position Information:


  • The Manager, Cyber Defence and Security Architecture will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures. This includes managing the design and implementation of security systems and architecture to protect the organization's data and assets from cyber threats. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity trends and threats. The Manager will also lead incident response and recovery efforts in the event of a security breach and will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement cyber defence and security architecture strategies, design and solutions to protect of our systems, networks, and datafrom cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals responsible for daytoday security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify security requirements and ensure security considerations are incorporated into all IT projects and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams on security best practices, compliance requirements, and incident response protocols.
  • Stay up to date on the latest cyber threats and security trends and implement appropriate technologies and processes to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure our cybersecurity posture is aligned with industry best practices and standards

What you will bring:


  • 4year Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science;
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience in security architecture and incident response;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager in the field of Health Services;
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures;
  • Experience with Security Orchestration Automation and Response platforms (SOAR);
  • Indepth knowledge of onprem/cloud infrastructure, networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) computer hardware and mobile device technology;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills

  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certification.
