About This Opportunity:

As part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) Centre of Excellence, and reporting into the Sr.

Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will play an internal consultant role to support the local recruiting teams across the country to ensure we leverage best practices.

The role will manage the recruitment operations for the country, including but not limited to managing recruitment programs, vendors, and implementation of new technology to streamline our recruiting processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate and support the Talent Acquisition Business Partners by managing overall programs, streamlining processes, resolving vendor challenges, and implementing best practices
  • Support the business leaders and TA team by finding creative solutions to marketspecific issues as they arise
  • Provide HR Directors with market insights, analytics and additional support as required
  • Partner with the business leaders to manage recruitment programs including campus programs and employee referral program
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other supporting training material
  • Regularly consult with the HR Directors and TA team to identify gaps in process or in daytoday recruitment operations and either provide timely and thoughtful solutions or put forward recommendations based on market insight and data
  • Facilitate training for the TA team as it relates to new ways of working, change management or Hiring Manager coaching
  • Manage various external vendors and partners such as job boards, community agencies, and campus partners
  • Work with the TA team and business leaders to establish seasonal forecasting hiring targets, build go to market strategies including: community engagements, external nonforprofit partnerships, career/job fair events, and targeted job ad campaigns
  • Provide overflow TA support as needed to balance hiring requisitions across the company

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a highvolume recruitment role that involved many competing priorities and the ability to deal with the unknown
  • A keen eye for efficiency, costsavings and/or creative problem solving ("working smart")
  • Ability to communicate in French is an asset
  • Entrepreneurial/growth mindset and a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • High sense of curiosity and passion for HR technology, systems, automation and programs (including the confident use of MS Office)
  • Experience managing or working actively within an ATS such as SAP SuccessFactors is strongly preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to facilitate and/or communicate effectively in front of small to medium sized groups
  • Ability to work within a hybrid team environment
  • Strong writing skills (creative and technical)
