Responsibilities:

-
Assist Maintenance Supervisor with the following duties:_

Install, assemble and test machines and equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections
Order materials, supplies and consumables and assist in monitoring and tracking expenditures for the same
Complete repairs and parts replacement
Carry out preventative maintenance schedules as needed
Perform reactive maintenance as needed
Prepare records related to the work performed including materials and supplies in a computerized format
Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines, facilities, equipment and vehicles
Work effectively with other team members
Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions

Qualifications:

Successful trade or vocational school completion
2 years' experience or more as a maintenance mechanic, preferable working with Steel cutting machines
Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period of time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to act competently in emergencies
Excellent knowledge of good manufacturing processes and SOP"s
Valid driver's license
Computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word)
