Description
Applications are invited for a continuing ;FTE Student Services Coordinator commencing the start of the school year.The Student Services Coordinator works to provide both generalized and specialized leadership and support to school-based administrators, teachers and other professionals across the school division. Coordinators work to improve opportunities and achievement for students, determine, communicate and implement professional services direction and innovation, and help set strategic direction and implement actions.
The Student Services Coordinator leads and directs a team of student services professional staff to provide specialized support services and programming to students and teachers across the school division in order to improve opportunities and achievement for all students. This position has responsibility for leadership and delivery of supports for emotional, social and behaviours needs of students, Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions for students with diverse needs, and programming for students requiring intensive supports.
