    It's an amazing time to join Golden Life as we continue to expand our seniors housing, care, and services within western Canada.

    We're looking for a qualified, permanent, part-time (0.68 FTE) Receptionist to join our team at Grand Seton Village. If you are a strong team player, then we'd like to hear from you

    The successful candidate will have related experience and has a passion for providing high quality care and support for seniors. The receptionist is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to residents, their families, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

    We're looking for someone who:
  • Welcomes visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Co-ordinates the inbound and outbound delivery of mail
  • Maintains a safe and presentable front entrance area by complying with policies and procedures
  • Maintains the cleanliness of staff and meeting rooms
  • Provides accounting support as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Manager as requested
  • The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
    • A strong desire to serve and care for seniors
    • Previous reception and/or administrative experience
    • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Elementary bookkeeping and experience handling cash
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
    • Immunization records
    • Available from Monday-Friday
