Duties:


The Quartermaster and Inventory Management Officer is accountable for the conduct of materiel management services in support of ongoing PPS requirements, involving the receipt, quality assurance, inventorying and shipment of goods to clients.

There is a responsibility for contributing to the ongoing identification, profiling, tracking and recording of all materiel asset holdings (e.g. capital assets; inventories; materiel in use), as well as for the transfer and disposal of materiel assets.

The incumbent provides quartermaster (QM) services to operational staff regarding the ordering, receipt, storage, issuance, tracking and disposal of assets (e.g.

uniforms; apparels, accessories, etc.), as well as in the management of lockers.

EDUCATION:
Secondary school diploma OR an acceptable combination of education, experience and training related to the position.

  • The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada, you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.
Degree equivalency


EXPERIENCE:
E2-Significant** experience in providing a front-line service to clients.

E3-Experience providing advice and consultative services to clients.

E4-Experience in interpreting policies or procedures.

E5-Experience managing physical and electronic inventories.


DEFINITIONS:

  • Recent means within the past five (5) years.
**Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to this task, which are acquired on a full-time basis for over a given period of time.


ASSETS:
Experience working with an inventory management system, such as BeeON.

Experience in controlling, maintaining, and disposing assets and preparing related records.

Experience in the provision of asset management and warehousing services

Experience working in a security or law enforcement work environment.

Conditions of employment:

You must be eligible to obtain both a Site Access Clearance and an Enhanced Reliability Status clearance.

The process involves a background investigation that includes:
