Description

ONxpress Transportation Partners (ONxpress) were chosen by Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) to enter the Development Phase of the On-Corridor Works project - the largest project in Metrolinx's GO Expansion.

Unprecedented in its scale and complexity, this multi-billion-dollar capital program will transform the GO regional rail network with electrification, more frequent service, shorter journey times and a more modernized system for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.


Accountability

  • Establishing a system setup specification for the ERP, that enables fast and efficient development, systems integration, and incremental improvements.
  • Ensuring that the ERP is implemented and configured to meet the requirements of all stakeholders.
- collaboration with other entities and stakeholders to ensure seamless interaction and data flows of ERP Data and documents through all relevant IT systems.
- cost effective development, testing and systems integration of ERP according to best practices and within defined cost frameworks.


Responsibility

  • Coordinate and align the ERP Setup according to requirements in the Project Agreement and across the different Legal Entities within ONxpress.
  • Establish a close relationship with the Business Owners / Heads of HR, Finance, Procurement, Project Management and the Users of the Systems, to translate their requirements into the ERP systems.
  • Develop, document, plan and prepare ERP business functional specifications.
  • Manage ERP plan, organize, control, evaluate and improve the system (implementation, development, operations).
  • Consult and collaborate with stakeholders across the entire organization and contracting authority to identify and prioritize business and technology requirements for ERP.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
  • Ensure specification integrity and security of data processes within the ERP.
  • Responsible for the supervision of ERP IT projects.
  • Implement a strong, collaborative culture and procedures to continuously improve the ERP.
What You Will Bring To The Team


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects, specifically in ERP
  • Has a record of accomplishment of successfully delivering ERP projects, ideally in the Rail industry

Competencies & Skills

  • Specialist domain knowledge of Financial, Procurement, Materials / Inventory, Timekeeping, People Management, Project Systems, Portfolio Management, Reports, KPIs, Edge computing
  • Specialist knowledge of ERPs such as SAP ECC, S4HANA, SuccessFactors, Oracle,
  • On-Prem and Cloud architectures
  • Good working knowledge of SAP Information Steward, Data Services, SAP NetWeaver gateway, Cloud Connector, Solution Manager, GRC, RESTAPI, Report Writing / BI, Fiori, Sap Analytics Hub, Power BI
  • Good working knowledge of IT /OT integrations concepts and current trends and products I.e. ESRI / ArcGIS, Primavera P6, Autodesk, Bently, Aveva / OSIPi, OpenText ECM,
  • Basic knowledge of Master Data Governance, Document Management and Process Workflow capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization

  • Experienced in working in intercultural environments and large, complex projects
  • Fluency in English.
