    Alamos Gold's Island Gold is one of Canada's highest grade and lowest cost gold mines. This underground operation is located just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa in Northern Ontario. Through ongoing exploration success, Island Gold's Mineral Reserves and Resources have continued to grow in size and quality, and Alamos is now investing in a major expansion project which is expected to transform Island into one of the largest and most profitable mines in Canada with an 18-year mine life.     Key Responsibilities:

  • Constructing reports for tracking and reporting on Key Performance Indicators
  • Statistical analysis and reporting for data
  • Health and Safety Management System improvement projects
  • Policy and procedure development
  • Constructing processes for systematic information management and communication
  • Constructing spreadsheet for orderly management of data and accurate and pertinent reporting of that data
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements:

  • Enrolled in or pursuing a post-secondary education in occupational health and safety
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and the willingness to take on new tasks and challenges.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong commitment to safe operations.
