Heavy General Labourer for our Kingston, ON location.

Schedule:


  • Shift times vary from day shift 8am 4pm and afternoon shift 2pm 9pm
  • Weekends as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect all industrial and common areas within customer manufacturing facilities (restrooms, offices, break rooms, stairwells, windows, walls machinery/equipment, and floors);
  • Perform general sanitation maintenance including wiping down surfaces, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and garbage disposal;
  • Lift up to 50 lbs to maneuver supplies, equipment, or materials;
  • Must wear proper

PPE:
retrieval harness, steel toe footwear safety glasses, etc.;

  • Perform physically repetitive tasks to clean and maintain manufacturing plants, including working from heights or at confined spaces;
  • Follow instructions and all safety policies;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset;
  • Must be able to perform all functions including lifting up to 50 lbs.;
  • Motivated and selfdriven person, with an attention to detail;
  • Comfortable working from heights and climbing stairs;
  • High School Diploma (or High School Equivalence Certificate);
  • Valid Ontario driver's license;
  • Ability to work days, afternoons and nights, as business needs require.

Salary:
$19.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
