Shop Foreman/ Woman who will be based in the Grand Prairie area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and performing mechanical repairs and maintenance ona variety of highway and offroad construction equipment, including Kenworth, Western Star, a variety of trailers, John Deere, Komatsu wheel loaders, as well as Komatsu excavators
• Preparing inspection, maintenance, and work reports, and record details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures
• Supervising Mechanics and shop personnel
• Performing field diagnosis and field running repairs
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers
• Attend and participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and prejob safety meetings
• Adhering to Compass Policies and Procedures and all established safety standards
• Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Journeyperson/Millwright or Automotive certification
• Minimum Class 5 license
• Capable of working in remote locations (occasion overnight trips)
• Ability to work in a drug and alcoholfree environment
• Be selfdriven, motivated, well organized, and work well independently
• Selfmotivated, reliable, and able to work safely in a team environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$48.00-$55.00 per hour
