We're looking for (not all required)

  • Provide assistance and support to the Aircraft Certification Engineer team working on creating, for example, aircraft wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, cable harness drawings, aircraft installation drawings, aircraft electrical load analysis, systems substantiation reports, system/aircraft test procedures, weight & balance amendments, installation instructions, flight manual supplements, instruction for continued airworthiness, and engineering orders
  • Assist in troubleshooting of problems
  • Assist with creating and checking engineering documents
  • Have a continual improvement mindset always looking at ways to make work/processes more efficient

Experience & Skills

  • Must be in an accredited coop or intern program
  • Completing a diploma or degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Avionics, Aircraft Structures, Aeronautical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good knowledge and understanding of different development methodologies, practices and tools such as code repositories, testing frameworks, release practices, continuous integration, and automated build servers

Assets (not required but would be looked at as differentiators)

  • Experience with FAR 25 or equivalent regulations;
  • Systems integration experience (FMS, Audio, etc.) on fixed wing aircraft;
  • Experience on commercial aircraft;
  • Experience with design change certification
