**Job description

  • Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant**This position will work in the housekeeping and/or laundry department as needed on a part time basis. Duties will be performed in laundry room, ry room and this member will assist in housekeeping also. This position will be required to work every other weekend opposite to the current fulltime laundry attendant.

Skill and Competencies Required:


  • Provide caring, empathetic commitment to resident care and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Be capable of performing the physical demands of the job. This position completes laundry services for residents and assists with cleaning duties in the building.
  • Ability to follow oral and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and multitask as required with emphasis on timely completion of daily duties.
  • Must understand infection control and safe use of personal protective equipment.
  • Be available to work weekdays and every other weekend. Some stat holidays are worked if it falls into your rotation.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have completed WHMIS training.
  • Be flexible as duties are in laundry and housekeeping.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
From $16.67 per hour
