Description

Crossroads Men's Residential Services is dedicated to providing a safe, stable, and positive residential setting for men in crisis, regardless of cultural and religious diversity.

Provide support to residents and ensure that their emotional, psychological and physical needs are being met.

Assist clients to get required funding. Prepare and present shift exchange to share information with next shift.

Read and document necessary logs. Care for residents' health needs and seek medical attention in a timely manner.

Conduct room searches, work on HIFIS, be familiar with community supports.

Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience in related field. Certificate, diploma or degree in Humanities or related field (Social Work, Sociology Psychology, etc).

First Aid, Mental Health First Aid

Physically able to perform tasks,

Ability to work with hard to handle clients

Proficient in computer programs, excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Demonstrate the ability to work as a positive team member

Maintain and promote a positive image of The Salvation Army by providing a high caliber of services and dealing with others in a courteous and professional manner.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Salary:
$17.00-$23.00 per hour
