POSITION OVERVIEW


As a Senior Analyst, Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for supporting and improving a wide range of key processes within the marketing department to help the team with efficiency gains.

Reporting to the Director of strategy and effectiveness, you will be a key actor in the continuous improvement of our ways of working.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Portfolio Management: Process owner for portfolio management.

Documents and monitors the entire portfolio of marketing initiatives (including campaigns, corporate projects involving marketing, initiatives supporting business lines, etc), by working collaboratively with marketing leads and stakeholders.

Identifies opportunities and mitigate potential risks that could impact the success of initiatives, taking proactive measures with marketing leads to keep initiatives on track.

Helps orchestrate forums for cross-functional visibility of marketing initiatives and for planning.- Resource Management &

Capacity Planning:

Responsible for developing and implementing a capacity planning process within Marketing, based on current timesheet reports and leading industry practices.

Identifies insights and trends and helps with the allocation of resources to marketing initiatives based on priority and strategic importance.

- Budget Oversight: Works in close collaboration with our finance partner to provide key input on the Marketing budget, performs budget analysis, supervises the forecasting exercise and provides guidance to management to improve the budgeting experience

  • Efficient ways of working:
Collaborate with various teams within the organization, including brand, content, research, marketing automation, analytics, etc.

to promote and help implement new ways of working related to budgeting, procurement and capacity planning to improve overall team efficiency and support our continuous improvement efforts.


QUALIFICATIONS- Proven experience in marketing portfolio management or process improvement.- Bachelor's degree in management, certification in Project Management is an asset.- 7 to 9 years of related experience, including data analysis and process improvement.- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.- Demonstrated ability to solicit cooperation and assist in planning of resource allocation.- Experience in budget allocation, control, and tracking using metrics and dashboards.- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.- Ability to develop internal procedures and methodologies.- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for storytelling.- Familiarity with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) for capacity tracking is an asset.- Proficient in both official languages (French and English), with additional experience in marketing and communications environments as an asset.
