EHT Group is actively seeking an Electrical Apprentice (Year 2-4) who is looking to join a dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

• Install electrical heat tracing systems for commercial and industrial facilities
• Commission and startup electrical heat tracing systems
• Follow procedures as defined in the current CEC code.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using both hand & power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with CEC codes

Qualifications:

• Proof of successful completion of at least two years of schooling required for an Industrial Electrician Certification
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in apprenticeship
• Must be selfstarter, with ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Strong client focus with demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Must have strong work ethic and be reliable
• Commercial experience required; industrial experience is a bonus
• Willing and able to travel into Canada and US
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident requirement
• Drug and alcohol testing requirement
• Valid drivers license with a clean record
• Strong computer skills

Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
