POSITION SUMMARY
Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Office of the Clerk department is seeking a motivated, detail oriented and professional individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Communications Co-op.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning and Strategic Initiatives, and under the general supervision of the Communications Officers, the Communications Co-op (Co-op) is responsible for providing general communications support, creating online content, and implementing online strategies to engage external stakeholders through social media accounts.
