    Ironworker (CWB-SMAW)

    LNS Services , part of NorLand Limited, is a Mechanical Construction/Engineering firm. We are looking for a CWB Certified Field Welder for Industrial Construction.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding procedure specifications from blueprints
  • Operate Manual/semi auto and full auto welding equipment
  • Weld structural steel and be able to follow NDT requirements
  • Heavy equipment repairs on large excavators, dozers, and loader buckets
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Ability to adhere to quality control systems

    • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Industrial construction and/or a recognized equivalent International Trade Qualification combined with education, designations, and Red Seal certification is required
  • Must have valid CWB-SMAW
  • Class 5 License is not required, but considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and extent of skills and competencies required to achieve the goals of the position

    • Expected Wage Range: $32.91-$46.87 per hour
