Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:


  • As the Product Integrity & Compliance Specialist, you ensure Arc'teryx raw materials and finished goods meet regulatory and safety standards, and are compliant with performance and sustainable declarations. You continuously improve the communication and execution of requirements throughout the product development lifecycle and within the organization.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is expected to be performed on-location.


Meet Your Future Team:


  • The Compliance team works crossfunctionally to provide a strong connection between product creation and our supply chain. We bridge the gap between what we build at Arc'teryx and what we value. We embed product integrity and compliance into our processes and systems to ensure our products are globally compliant and are representative of company policies.

If you were the Product Integrity & Compliance Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Executing a systematic, comprehensive seasonal compliance review for all product prior to commercialization
  • Monitoring and tracking seasonal material developments to ensure compliance with global regulations and company policies
  • Creating and monitoring seasonal finished goods regulatory test plans
  • Analyzing industry developments in product labelling to determine a need for revisions
  • Redeveloping current labels and associated business processes
  • Evolving protocols to ensure product declarations are validated and conform to legislation where applicable (functional and sustainable)
  • Overseeing project initiatives for certification of PPE products
  • Implementing company policies and tracking progress of adoption and outcomes
  • Monitoring global regulatory environments for changing or emerging regulations and categories to support proactive fulfilment of endtoend product compliance
  • Increasing efficiency and efficacy of recurring tasks within your scope by upgrading Standard Operating Procedures and workflows
  • Reviewing functionality of our systems to support data integrity

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing expertise in product transparency and traceability within our organization and supply chains
  • Advising on regulatory impacts for new geographic markets, product categories and services Arc'teryx may enter into
  • Providing key stakeholders with thorough risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Evolving our chemical compliance protocol to maintain, mitigate and monitor product and vendor compliance with our Restricted Substances List (RSL)

Are you our next Product Integrity & Compliance Specialist?:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in fashion or apparel design, têxtiles manufacturing, or another relevant field
  • You have a minimum of 4+ years relevant industry experience
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • You are an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
  • You have excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
  • You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
