Associate/VP - Quants
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Development and implementation of miscellaneous tools to support trading and risk management activities.
- Gather new requirements from the trading desk and manage delivery of solutions through quant libraries and associated IT systems.
- Maintenance and improvement of existing pricing tools and operational framework.
- Provide general daytoday quantitative support to trading desk.
- Carry out special projects related to pricing models, trades, and risk management.
- Assistance with the pricing of new products and feasibility of modelling approaches.
- Provide deskbased research assistance as required.
- Coordination with risk and functional teams as part of the process of submitting front office developed models for vetting and use in the bank's risk framework.
- Help to recruit, retain and develop top talent.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Advanced qualifications in mathematical finance and computing.
- Strong written and oral communication.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Programing: Python, C++, SQL.
- Knowledge of derivative products and associated valuation methodologies.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of Commodities derivatives (in particular Energy, Metals and Environmental products).
- Experience developing counterparty credit and valuation adjustment models.
