The Account Executive will be responsible for supporting specific clients, in a leadership role, often collaborating with others other members of our Association Management, Event, Communications and Accounting Teams to support a client's operations, Board support, and committee engagement, database and website management, and providing support on other administrative and operational aspects of the client accounts.

This role has a special project management component and grant reporting opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and model a positive outlook and attitude
  • Ability to perform at an expert level in the following areas: project management, communications, board and committee support.
  • Excel in professional environment that requires interaction with high level business executives
  • Comfort in reading and understanding regulations and policy
  • Plan and oversee all aspects of a project and meet all project goals on time, and within budget
  • Enforce and uphold the Project Management phases within the contracted projects

  • Organize people, time, tasks, and resources to bring about a successful conclusion to a project with a final project report
  • Researching, preparing, submitting and managing grant reporting requirements that support the agency goalsand meet the funding guidelines and criteria
  • High level comfort with website editing and development, communication software, technology, creating technology driven efficiencies
  • Reports to Chief Operating Officer
  • May have supervisory duties of others for their client teams
  • Clear understanding of company's mission and client missions
  • Strong work ethic with perseverance to look for efficiencies and think strategically
  • Ability to think strategically and recommend strategic direction for clients
  • Ability to determine new business/revenue ideas with existing clients
  • Involvement in the annual budget creation process for their clients assisting with this process and provides recommendations to the Board on meeting strategic and financial goals
  • Responsible for looking for and presenting new opportunities
  • Onboarding of new clients and exit strategy of existing clients (if applicable)
  • Abiding by our internal policies and procedures

Detailed Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with an association or 4+ years' experience in a similar role
  • University or College Business Degree or Diploma
  • Grant reporting
  • Delivering feedback and advice, as necessary
  • Superior timemanagement, organizational and project management skills
  • Willingness to acknowledge, accept and implement feedback
