Job description
Insight Global is looking for a reliable and motivated Labourer to support construction and plant operations.This role involves assisting with daily site activities, material handling, and maintenance projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and productivity.
This is a 6‑month contract with the potential to convert to full‑time, working onsite five days per week in Nisku, Alberta.
Must-Have QualificationsAbility to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying and operating tools or machinery.
Strong reliability and work ethic. Must consistently show up on time, follow schedules, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as drills, saws, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
High level of safety awareness to protect yourself and others on the job site.
Ability to follow instructions, ask questions when clarification is needed, and communicate effectively with team members.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily work instructions and procedures across construction and plant environments
Move materials, tools, and equipment to designated work locations and help set up job sites
Prepare construction sites, including pouring and spreading concrete, setting forms, and finishing surfaces as needed
Participate in routine and turnaround plant maintenance projects and activities
Support plant production operations, including receiving, handling, and shipping materials and finished products
Complete required documentation, maintain tools and equipment, and perform general cleanup and housekeeping duties
Follow all safety rules and procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
