Client Analytics is a professional services team within BMO Global Markets.

This role is integral to the group's mandate of providing client-level reporting/ analytics and business insights to senior executives, front-line relationship managers, and product managers, with the objective of assisting them to make proactive decisions to maximize enterprise profitability.

Supporting Director of Client Analytics in maintaining and developing client and sales system;
Aggregating, organizing and analyzing trade data to facilitate a wide range of reporting, from highlevel business overviews down to tradelevel details;
Interacting and building relationships with various groups across the firm (trading desks, risk management, middle office, finance, etc.);
Troubleshooting and solving problems within a very short timeframe.
Works mostly independently.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in a field such as finance, mathematics, statistics or computer science;
Familiarity with database design and queries (Oracle/SQL) with a desire to learn;
Specific academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting with outstanding academic achievement;
Programming skills an asset, but not required (Python, JavaScript, VBA);
Proficient in MS office (excel, word, etc.);
Understanding of financial pricing models and valuation of derivative products;
Solid knowledge of financial theory and risk management concepts;
Ability to attentively review, assess and provide detailed information daily on multiple projects in an organized manner;
Able to exercise independent thought and judgment and adapt to new tasks with little notice;
Strong research & analytical skills and proven problem solver;
Selfstarting, resultsoriented, and highly motivated with excellent analytical skills and the ability to independently resolve complex business problems;
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish and develop strong relationships at all levels across the organization to support the effective execution of business initiatives.
