    CareCorp Senior Services is a reputable company that offers top-notch healthcare, food, and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities throughout British Columbia.


    We are seeking a kind-hearted and empathetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our exceptional care team at one of our lovely long-term care facilities, Piccadilly Seniors Community.

    Position Details:

    • Permanent Line; with the following rotations:
    • 3 days on 2 days off
    • 2 days on 3 days off
    • 2 days on 2 days off

    Compensation:
    Starting at $41.42 per hour + extended health and dental benefits


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments.
    • Develop and implement personalized care plans, including medication administration.
    • Evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and cultural wellbeing.
    • Assist in creating and updating care plans in collaboration with the care team.
    • Administer medications following organizational protocols.
    • Provide guidance to staff and oversee their tasks and training.
    • Ensure residents' safety and wellbeing by adhering to health and safety protocols.
    • Report any safety concerns and participate in investigations when necessary.
    • Perform nursing procedures, monitor their effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments.
    • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Care Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently registered with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
    • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
    • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Preference for candidates with cultural education and experience.
    • Geriatric Nursing certificate or relevant experience (preferred).
    • 1 year of RN experience in Canada (preferred).


    The chosen candidate must provide proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and any required booster shot, unless exempt for legal reasons.
