Full Time Educational Assistant & School Secretary
St.

Marguerite Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking a half time Educational Assistant and half time School Secretary to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs and provide standardized and complex secretarial support to the office and school.

The assignment is to begin August 29, 2023 of the school year.

Salary range:
$ $26.30 as per the Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Qualifications required are as follows:

Experience utilizing strengthbased, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a busy, teambased environment
Extensive computer and technology experience and skills
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently with direction
Strict commitment to confidentiality of information and privacy
