Department Overview
The Specialized Sales Force (SSF) is an exciting and dynamic national sales channel within TD responsible for the acquisition of new Mortgage and Home Equity FlexLine business as well as facilitating the sale of Credit Protection.
Our team is responsible for delivering new customers to TD, contributing to both the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) market share, based on a commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, each Mobile Mortgage Specialist (MMS) and Branch Mortgage Specialist (BMS) leverages a distinct discovery process and collaborative approach to building a financing strategy that reflects each client's unique needs and delivers the full spectrum of TD products and services.
The National Office Specialized Home Financing is a support team accountable for the development and execution of channel strategies, delivering business performance insights to drive growth and increase productivity as well as the creation and the implementation of policies, processes, and capabilities supporting our MMS, BMS and Broker channels.
To deliver on our mandate successfully, the business works closely with our Realtor and Builder Partnerships, One TD partners, RESL Home Owners Journey (HOJ) and the Channels leadership team.

Are you a seasoned professional who is confident leading large and complex organizational change, coaching and guiding people, process and technology? Oversee and lead change management efforts and all related activities through your team
Lead and manage a sizeable team of Change Management Analysts, Specialists and / or Managers; providing day-to-day guidance and building and growing talent with a united goal to understand and grow business results, positive change culture and customer experience

Provide coaching, guidance and mentorship to team within area/s of expertise

Serve in two functional capacities, as both a people manager / team lead and also responsible for own change management deliverables on complex projects and programs

Collaborate and be the change management expert for business partners at all levels

Work with Business Owner and Sponsor to identify change adoption metrics; lead relationships with controls and compliance to align with enterprise and regulatory requirements

Facilitate a smooth transition into steady state ( e.g. ongoing processes exist, viable workarounds identified for any defects, handover of ownership)

Assess potential issues, mitigate and report/escalate as required

Act as a consultant and valued resource to business and other working partners

Protect the interests of the organization - identify, manage and raise risks or issues and problem solve as required; stay on top of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements

Coach, mentor and provide guidance to partners within the area of expertise

Act as a brand ambassador for your change management team and community, the bank and industry
Job Requirements

- Undergraduate degree
- Relevant change management accreditations are an asset
- Seven (7) or more years related experience, working in a project environment
- Advanced knowledge of change management principles, industry standards and methodologies, external competition, emerging market trends, project management, organizational practices and business transformation
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
- Skill in preparing budgets and resource allocation
- Ability to negotiate and influence
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively in both oral and written form, and build relationships across teams and functions
