Duties:


MAJOR DUTIES :

The position of Administrative Assistant to the Management Section (MGT) reports directly to the Management Officer (MO) and is reviewed by the Minister Counselor for Management Affairs (MCMA).

The employee will assist the MCMA and MO with administrative responsibilities of the entire management portfolio and provide support to MGT sections:
Community Liaison, General Services, Facility Management, Financial Management, Human Resources, Information Management, and the Health Unit.


JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Good knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and related business protocol. Basic understanding of thenature of government work and government office structures


Qualifications and Evaluations:

For the experience and education requirements, applicant must meet either option 1 or option 2 to qualify:

Option 1

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years of office management and/or administrative experience is required.


EDUCATION :
Two years of post-secondary education in general area is required.

OR


Option 2

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of five years of office management and/or administrative experience is required.


EDUCATION :
Completion of high school (secondary education) is required.

English - Fluent; written/spoken, including the ability to translate. This may be tested.
