Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the company's fleet of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and other equipment
  • Manage the maintenance, repairs, registration, and insurance requirements of fleet vehicles to ensure they are safe, dependable, and presentable for client work
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures including vehicle utilization, fuel management, and driver safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including licensing, registration, and inspections
  • Manage fuel and maintenance costs to optimize fleet efficiency and costeffectiveness
  • Coordinate vehicle assignments and track vehicle usage
  • Supervise fleet personnel, including drivers and mechanics
  • Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and costeffective vehicle ordering, maintenance, and repair services
  • Develop and maintain accurate and uptodate fleet management records and reports
  • Lead, train, and manage a team that supports this business

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, logistics) preferred
  • Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of fleet management principles, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office suite
