Baker Tilly SNT is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our growing team as a Senior Accountant in our Timmins office. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your career with challenging and rewarding opportunities, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Year-end planning for various companies, including communication and coordination with clients directly

Preparation and review of notice to reader, review and audit engagement reports

Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment

Identifying and resolving engagement issues

Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements

Ensuring the clients' satisfaction with the firm's services

Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients

A successful candidate will have:

University Business Degree

CPA designation is an asset

Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience

Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge

Bilingualism in French/English is an asset

Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills

A passion for client service
