ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times (before, during and after their stay).
  • Manage reservations, rentals, cancellations and customer service.
  • Confirm and/or register guest rooms in the hotel's computer system.
  • Manage guest requests and complaints
  • Ensure an optimal guest experience at all times.

Team Management:
Plan and define staffing requirements based on the operational needs of the hotel.

Hire, train and supervise employees

  • Supervise housekeeping, maintenance and front desk teams.
  • Plan weekly staff tasks
  • Plan staff schedules according to operational needs
  • Conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with the Inn's internal procedures and policies.
  • Perform time entry and approval in Employer D
  • Ensure the followup of the inventory of the cottages
  • Ensure collaboration and teamwork;
  • Assist the maintenance crew with their duties (as needed).

Administration:

  • Perform lot closing and end of day.
  • Perform weekly and monthly reports of the company
  • Carry out various inventories
  • Place various orders (household products, stationery, bedding, coffee, etc.)
  • Ensure the profitability of the company
  • All other tasks related to the function

Business development:

  • Ensure the professional representation of the inn and its cottages and its influence
  • Participate in the promotion of the Inn and its cottages on social networks
  • Develop new relationships, strategies or business partnerships and maintain existing relationships
  • Bring new ideas to improve the service offer
  • Stay abreast of Mont-Tremblant activities
  • Stay abreast of the competition

Profile required:

  • 2 years of experience in the hotel or accommodation industry
  • 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Experience in team management
  • Diploma from a hotel school (major asset)
  • Knowledge of Hotello software (an asset)
  • Bilingual French-English spoken and written (knowledge of another language will be considered an asset)
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism
  • Diligent
  • Sense of leadership
  • Ability to delegate
  • Good management of priorities


Although the work schedule may vary depending on operational needs and occupancy, you must be available to work on weekends, we are committed to providing a quality of life for our employees by offering a certain stability of schedule.
