The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and effective management of the shipping team to meet shipping targets and standards.

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for management of order picking, the loading of trucks, cold chain monitoring system, and will work closely with the sales team to coordinate the pick-up and delivery of our products to exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities will include generating reports, staff training in shipping methods, safety, policies, and procedures, as well as the identification and correction of potential work complications and health and safety issues.

Requirements:

Postsecondary degree/diploma in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience considered an asset.
Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Welldeveloped problemsolving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives.
Ability to find new methods and principles and ability to incorporate them into existing practices as needed.
High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
Must have ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc.
