What does a Security Guard in Downtown Toronto do?:

  • Greet, inform, direct and escort various users and visitors
  • Interior and exterior patrols of building and surround area
  • Provide assistance and evacuate the building(s) in case of emergency
  • Detect, question and remove undesirable persons
  • Control access and exit of equipment

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Downtown Toronto:

  • A valid security guard license
  • WSIB approved first aid certificate
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a tactical security guard
  • Must have Use of Force Training
  • Available to work flexible hours

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable standing and walking for long hours
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
