IT Delivery Manager

The IT Delivery Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical technology projects and services within the organization.

This position is responsible for the efficient delivery of key initiatives through the active monitoring of project progress; managing a team of project managers, implementing common project management processes; financial reporting and contract management.

The IT Delivery Manager is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to project timelines and budgets, and effectively communicating with all parties involved.


As importantly, you will work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure successful and on time delivery of enhancements and solutions to information systems.

What you will do

  • Monitor project progress ensuring appropriate communication and reporting escalating issues appropriate to management.
  • Coordinate schedules and resources across multiple projects.
  • Review project plans and schedules required for successful delivery of project and produce project plans when required.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate a team of project managers in the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support to meet project requirements.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and internal departments.
  • Establish and maintain standards for IT and business system project management and delivery.
  • Ensure that IT projects adhere to industry best practices and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costeffectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to track project expenses and manage vendor relationships.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Manage the endtoend contract lifecycle, including execution, administration, monitor performance, and resolve contractrelated issues.

What you bring to the table

  • Minimum of 7 years direct working experience in mid to large size companies in a project management role.
  • PMP certification or working towards certification is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading highperforming teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Related postsecondary education and industry certification (IT, Business Administration, or related field).
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with IT service delivery and operational processes.
  • Experience in budget management and financial acumen related to complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Selfstarter capable of working individually and with a team in a fastpaced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive dealership operations is considered an asset.
