Position Title:
Program Manager - Excluded Position

Reports to:

Executive Director

Salary Range:

1 FTE position - $34.36/hr

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Will also require a shared on call schedule 1out of 3 weeks in rotation which may require call outs

Job Summary Program Manager is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of the organization's clinical programs in accordance with standards set out by the organization and funding bodies. As a member of the management team, the Program Manager participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving. They work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

University degree in social services or health promotion or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Proven clinical experience in mental health issues.
Proven supervisory experience in a mental health clinical setting.
Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience adhering to and reinforcing policies and procedures.
Outstanding facilitation, conflict resolution, and mediation skills.
Demonstrated experience as a leader who is a relationship and community builder.
Experience working in a unionized environment will be an asset.
Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Experience in collecting data and preparing program reports.
Excellent computer skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse needs.
Valid BC Class 5 driver's license with ability to gain Class
Ability to clear a criminal record check working with vulnerable adults

Working conditions:

This position will work out of CMHA offices and may require some hours outside office hours. This is potentially a term position.
