What you'll do:
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production and cylinder maintenance activities.
- Supervise plant employees, drive on-site business processes, and support continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to all SOPs, work instructions, SHEQ processes, and corporate standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and manage plant maintenance activities, including contractor oversight.
- Lead EMOC processes for any equipment or procedural changes and maintain site security and orderliness.
- Address cylinder complaints, product short shipments, and support medical recall processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Plant Manager, Sales, Retail, Operations, SHEQ, and regional support groups.
- Support employee development, training, and capability-building while fostering teamwork.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and overtime as required.
- Ensure quality control standards are met to provide safe, compliant products to customers.
What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or Technical College Degree or equivalent formal education and certification related to a technical discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervision of unionized employees.
- Strong understanding of plant operations and compressed gas handling.
- Proficient with SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
