Bird's-eye View of Role
The Sales and Product Development Associate plays an integral and exciting role growing external sales channels for the company.

In this position we are seeking an individual who deeply wants to provide a positive and lasting impact to society, who has the drive, creativity, and track record of profitably growing and scaling up business units, and who relishes humility, empathy, and working closely with others to make continuous improvement.

Nurture existing accounts to year-over-year growth and routinely source and add new clients

Analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually on sales KPI's.

Deliver compound annual growth (CAGR) of 20% in the first 3-years on sales and profitability.

Be hands on with product from curation to delivery; acting as a produce concierge to clients.

Build business case for new product proposals

  • 3 years+ years of sales experience.
  • 3years+ produce industry experience.
  • Familiarity with logistics and warehousing operations.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Achieving sales and gross profit targets as assigned by the COO.
  • Finding qualified leads and adding them as clients.
  • Communicating and collaborating with other departments to achieve company KPI's.
  • Inspect, taste, and recommend products to clients that fits their needs.
  • Provide a personal touch, exceptional customer service, and exceeds client expectations.
  • Delivery products to clients as necessary in company vehicle.
  • Provide updated quotations to clients on a weekly basis or as needed by the customer.
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely product deliveries.
  • Create and follow-up on administrative documents to complete orders.
  • Initiates new product proposals and build out business case.
  • Maintain and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure quality standards.
  • Develops action plans to drive improvements to sales growth & profitability.
  • Reports to the COO both weekly and monthly on performance with recommendations for improvements.
  • Makes suggestions for process improvements.
  • Identifies any bottlenecks and provides timely solutions to resolve them.
Optimizes the deployment of resources and consistently looks for cost reductions and productivity improvements.
