Job Summary
Reporting to the site HR Business Partner & Plant Manager, the HR Plant Coordinator is accountable for providing general human resources support as well as general administrative services within the plant.
Human Resources Administration:
- Serve as the point of contact for local HR inquiries, including policy, pay, and benefits, directing employees as needed.
- Coordinate local programs such as immunizations, safety shoes, and service award distribution.
- Manage employmentrelated documentation and file maintenance.
- Track and coordinate training for production teams
- Coordinate and track 30/60/90day Stay Interviews.
- Maintain plant vacation and absence trackers.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews and manage the exit process
General Administration & HSE
- Contact point for administrative tasks, including managing bulletin boards and corporate policy postings.
- Generate and distribute Manufacturing packages to the shop floor.
- Provide firstlevel customer service to plant visitors and handle mail.
- Coordinate local functions and events and support with clerical tasks, report generation, and file maintenance.
- Manage office equipment and supplies procurement.
- File QHSE documents and maintain onsite files.
- Create and maintain weekly PowerPoint presentations and monthly performance reports.
- Review daily hours in the Dayforce system and handle invoices.
- Support data entry and record keeping to meet with environmental and regulatory requirements, such as air emissions and waste management.
Skills & Experience
- College Diploma in Human Resources or/and Business is preferred
- Minimum of 23 years prior experience in a similar role or capacity.
- Knowledge of local HR legislation and legal implications
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/ industrial background would be an asset.
- Understands urgency and demonstrated ability to act upon deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy level
- Experience conducting investigations preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
