    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Position : MaintenanceTechnician I & II - General

    Location : BlueRiver, BC

    Type : FullTime, Year-Round

    Reports to : MaintenanceManager & Supervisors

    Responsibilities & Attributes:

    1. Responsiblefor assisting with the preventative maintenance and minor repair of thefollowing assets:

    o Buildings & Components

    o Washrooms & Laundry Facilities

    o Drinking Water Systems

    o Waste Water Systems

    o HVAC (Coolers, Freezer, A/C)

    o Pools & Hot Tubs

    o Restaurant Equipment &Appliances

    2. Experiencedwith vehicle & equipment operation and maintenance.

    3. Experiencedand proficient with power & hand tools, small engines, and constructionequipment.

    4. Acceptsownership of organizational goals and explores opportunities to add value tothe MWHS guest experience.

    5. Adesire to live and work in a remote setting with limited access to nearby cities.

    6. Prioritizationand time management skills

    7. Problemsolving and decision-making skills.

All staff are expected to be team orientedand maintain confidentiality of all information gained while working with thecompany.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    1. Generalexperience in building and utilities maintenance, or an aptitude for workingwith tools and construction materials. The desire to learn is essential.

    2. Apprenticeshiptraining in a construction-related trade would be an asset.

    3. Aservice driven individual dedicated to the guest experience and cleanliness.

    4. Attentionto detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

    5. Basiccomputer skills; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS) an asset.

    6. ValidClass 5 driver's license; An overweight trailer endorsement would be an asset.

    7. OccupationalFirst Aid Level 1 preferred

    8. Willingto work a flexible schedule coinciding with work volumes (Major snow events,emergency break-in work)

    9. Attributesinclude strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, persuasive and positivepersonal image.

    Work Conditions:

    1. Physical ability to lift up to 75lb.

    2. Travel to site and off-site locations will be required.

    3. Shift is based on a 40-hour work week; 8 to 10 hours per day underan averaging agreement.

    4. Safety equipment and/or PPE will be required for different assignedtasks including but not limited to steel-toed safety boots, safetyglasses/goggles, & hearing protection.

    5. Hazards associated with the trade.

    6. Work both indoors and outdoors.

    7. Will be exposed to construction sites.

    Compensation:

    Hourly wage $ $27.00 based on experience and qualifications.
