Description
RIMOWA has a unique opportunity to for a Maintenance Planner to join the Engineering Team.


The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for scheduling of work within the maintenance team as well as control of the maintenance stock room.


Duties include but not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Production Master Planner on scheduling lines down to perform all maintenance repairs and repetitive PM's.
  • Process approved planned work tasks including procurement and kitting of parts, task prioritization, work durations, task description and scheduling recommendations.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor to create documentation from the CMMS system for KPI reporting and other maintenance office work duties.
  • Update PMs with procedures, parts, tools etc. needed to efficiently complete PMs and planned work.
  • Manage maintenance data collection and information gathering to provide insight more effectively into service intervals, time allocation and risk level assessment.
  • Prepares course materials and conducts training for users of CMMS concepts, and use.
  • Manage and update asset data and key equipment manuals.
  • Control of manuals and other documentation, updating and digitizing records as required.
  • Check stock levels to verify and order parts, materials, lubricants etc based on set reorder points.
  • Source and maintain spare parts to ensure key components are in stock to prevent extended breakdown periods.
  • Send and receive material and labour quotations to vendors and prepare purchase requisitions to submit to the purchasing department for P/O approvals.
  • Collect parts from the Receiving area and enter them into the CMMS system following up with suppliers for missing, delayed or incorrect shipments.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in work area and around work units, and spare parts storage area including labeling of spare parts, allocating designated storage for specific parts and good housekeeping.
  • Participate in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, sometimes overhead, when stocking shelves.

Experience and Qualifications required:


  • Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Completion of a postsecondary diploma in a technical field preferred
  • Attention to detail and well organized.
  • 3 years' experience in maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment
  • 2 years' experience in supply chain or MRO purchasing required or a combination of relevant experience and schooling.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office with advance MS Excel

Pay:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
