    Bannister Salmon Arm GM is looking for a top-notch Service Advisor to add to our team

    We are a dealership group dedicated to offering a friendly and professional environment where both employees and customers feel welcome.

    As a Service Advisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by serving as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians. You will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle service needs, and coordinating the necessary repairs or maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    What We Offer:

    Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (with occasional days going until 6pm)

    Salary: Beginning at $50,000 with the potential to transition to a larger service department at $60,000-100,000/year

    Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Listen to customer concerns and document their service requirements
  • Provide accurate estimates for service costs and timeframes
  • Schedule appointments and communicate effectively with customers regarding service updates
  • Liaise between customers and service technicians to ensure a smooth service process
  • Explain service recommendations to customers and address any questions or concerns
  • Process service orders and invoices accurately
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership's products and services
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolution
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department
  • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with service management software
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology is a plus
