Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time position for an Electrical Engineer based in Edmonton, AB. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems and power distribution networks.
Day-to-day tasks include performing electrical calculations, preparing design specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of electrical engineering solutions for infrastructure projects.
QualificationsProficiency in Electrical Design, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering
Knowledge and experience with Power Distribution systems
Expertise in Power Systems and their implementation
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration is preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Proven leadership skills leading multidisciplinary projects
Experience in infrastructure projects or related industries is a plus
Experience with power system study software such as ETAP, SKM and/or CYME
