Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, you will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives and programs focused on talent management, leadership and employee development, organizational development, culture and a fulfilling employee experience. This includes contributing to HSO's strategic priorities by developing initiatives and programs that are aligned with enterprise goals and priorities, supporting the development of employee and leader capabilities, and embedding an inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility (IDEA) lens into your work.
What you will do:
- Contribute to the success of our employees and leaders by supporting the evolution of learning initiatives, leadership development, employee development and career growth at HSO.
- Support, design, deliver, and evaluate corporate programs such as elearning (mandatory and requested courses) and facilitated sessions (orientation and customdesigned courses).
- Develop relevant tools (guides, activities, models, etc.) and guidance for the enterprise on leadership development, career development and growth initiatives.
- Define and implement new or renewed approaches for talent management, employee and high potential development, leadership development and more.
- Analyze metrics and other indicators to ensure the support of talent development needs and initiatives.
- Facilitate existing HSO Academy programs and be accountable for the needs analysis, development and implementation of future HSO Academy offerings.
- Develop and support IDEA strategies for all programs and initiatives including support for HSO's IDEA Talent plan.
- Manage the production of our employee newsletter (People Post) in collaboration with stakeholders and contributors across the enterprise.
- Leverage research and new methods that will help to drive programs, enhancements and initiatives.
What you can bring to the role:
- University degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing talent management programs including leadership and employee development and organizational development programs.
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, user experience and facilitation.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Articulate 360 (or similar elearning programs).
- Strong analytical skills, including experience using Excel to analyze data and identify insights.
- Collaborative and inclusive mindset.
- Strong sense of ownership, initiative and curiosity.
