The purpose of this job is to serve as a junior Project Manager assisting the Service Center Project Manager for IT infrastructure projects._

Responsibilities_

- _Prepare effort estimate, define scope, cost and schedule_
- _Coordinate and track hardware/software procurement and delivery_
- _Ensure process adherence for all phases of a project_
- _Prepare project plans_
- _Host project status meetings_
- _Track and follow up on pending action items_
- _Keep meeting minutes_
- _Coordinate with all stakeholders (internal and external) of a project_
- _Manage multiple projects_
- _Manage large implementation teams_
- _Prepare and review implementation plans_
- _Ensure project performance expectations are met with service levels and quality_
- _Monitor and track project provisioning and actual efforts_
- _Raise/escalate any issues and risks to all stakeholder and leadership for any impact on projects._
- _Provide necessary communication and progress update to all stakeholders on critical projects._
- _Prepare project dashboards._
- _Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly_
- _Maintain all project documentation_

Qualifications we seek in you_
Minimum Qualifications_

- _Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream._

- _A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification._

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_

- _Project management_
- _Capabilities to manage an implementation team_
- _Organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills_
- _Understanding of the latest technology stack and IT landscape_
- _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_
- _Capability to drive projects._
- _Effort estimation and scheduling for projects_
- _Put together implementation plans for project activities_
- _Must have good analytical skills_
- _High energy, self-starter, results driven, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skill_
- _Should be a team player_
- _Able to work under mínimal supervision_
- _Project Management certification ( PMP, Prince2)_
- _General knowledge of IT infrastructure (OS, Database, Middleware, Storage, Hardware, Networks, Scheduling and Monitoring Tools, File transfer tools, Remote access, IT security, Virtualization)_
- _Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting._
- _Technical and system expertise in relevant IT workstreams._
- _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills._
- _Specialized knowledge in specific areas allowing them to tackle intricate problems._
- _Collaboration with L1 Support to provide guidance and share insights for ongoing issue resolution._
- _Strong problem-resolving abilities, communication skills (written and verbal), time administration and management, and the team partnership and collaboration._
- _Escalation to L3 Support in timely manner when challenges require an even higher level of expertise and/or experience._
- _Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders in implementation of new functionality and solving problems._
- _Strong communication skills (written and verbal)._
- _Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting._
