Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Supervisor to join our team at the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.You will conduct regular reviews and assessments of geotechnical/stress monitoring and modelling, rock support practices, and results to ensure gaps are identified and addressed. You will also review geotechnical assumptions considered during the elaboration of LOMP, 5-year plan, and budget plans,
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant field., Registered (or eligible for registration) with Professional Engineers Ontario.,10 years underground mine ground control experience.,4 years supervisory role experience.,
- Extensive experience in rock mass characterization including data acquisition through core logging. ,
- SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN DEEP UNDERGROUND MINES AND NORTHERN ONTARIO OR SIMILAR LOCATIONS.
