What will you do?


Reporting to the Manager, Contracts and Relationships, this position is responsible for the development, distribution and maintenance of all Family Managed Home Care (FMHC) agreements and supports reporting, administration and quality performance monitoring of direct patient care contracts with service providers in alignment with the established performance management framework.

What must you have?

  • Postsecondary education in financial or contractual discipline or other relevant field combined with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in a financial or contractual discipline role (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Extensive experience in business administration, bookkeeping, accounting, and records management with the ability to prepare, analyze and effectively communicate financial or statistical information.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement tools, techniques and measures.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with frequent changes and interruptions.
  • Established ability to accurately complete required documentation, reports and forms
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Advanced level of computer literacy with proficiency with Microsoft spreadsheet and wordprocessing programs

What would give you the edge?

  • Basic knowledge of and adherence to relevant legislation such as Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
  • Basic understanding of issues and priorities within the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of government cyclical planning, review and reporting requirements
  • Good understanding of Home and Community Care Support Services business objectives and programs
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to speak French or another second language
