Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the correct execution of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) matters of customer orders for largescale electrolyzer plants.
  • Engages in client meetings for sale opportunities, engineering studies and projects, providing expert advice in the E&I domain of the product.
  • Focuses on the integration of standard building blocks into plant solutions of multiple units from an E&I point of view.
  • Executes customer deliverables such as plant singleline diagram, load list, signal list, etc.
  • Advise customers and ensures contractual compliance on a variety of electrical topics: harmonics, power factor, MV and LV grounding, protections, lightning protection, electrical fire safety, etc.
  • Leads a global team of 3 to 5 electrical engineers focused on customer project execution.
  • Coach engineers to develop both technical and nontechnical skillset. Performs 1on1 meetings, objective setting, performance evaluations.
  • Manages workload for the team on a mediumterm basis (daytoday work is managed by technical project managers)
  • Provide expert reference in a wide range of topics regarding electrical engineering.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):


  • Has strong technical competency in power distribution and/or instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage different stakeholders across different functions (technical, nontechnical).
  • Ability to provide problem resolution leadership to the team, dealing with both technical and nontechnical issues.
  • Must be able to handle a global setup (global team members, different technical requirements across regions.)
  • Must be able to deal with complex and sometimes contradicting requirements. Can handle ambiguity by decomposing major goals into achievable work packages.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:


  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
